Journal 5/08/10 Friends

Today I am just having a little self reflection. There are people in each of our lives that we tend to take for granted. So very giving, forgiving, and patient. I am so very thankful for friends that understand busy schedules and still reach out that hand to remind us that they are still there, wanting to spend time with us.

Ted and Riss, we had a WONDERFUL time with you guys last night. Thank you for your patience and friendship. :P

Myspace Setup

Well... I sorta have MySpace setup, but I have no friends :(

Send me friends and whomever sends me the most (more than 15) gets a free shoot and digital portrait. Make sure the new friends send me a msg or comment saying who sent them.

Thank you for visiting,

Journal 4/28/10

What a lovely morning after that spot of rain and thunder last night. I'm pleased to say my mini container (bucket) garden is looking VERY good. My bean and cucumbers are beginning to sprout and the squash has doubled in size since Saturday.

Days like today make it difficult to stay indoors.

Well, since I will be sitting indoors all day I am pondering my "list" today. I of course have all of my day work to do with the Healthcare guide getting closer to its publication deadline. Clearing my desk is foremost on my mind right now.

Next I think I would like to try to beautify my MySpace page. I never use it and I wonder if I even have friends. I think it too must be linked in with my Facebook and Blog as a way of reaching prospective clients.

I think during lunch I will send all my paperwork (round two) back to the Jacksonville Humane Society and see if there are any other dates available for orientation. I keeping thinking about my volunteering idea and it is resounding well with my conscious.

The downside to volunteering weekly would be that all the attempts to travel for pageant photography will be dropped. I am not seeing much possible growth in that particular avenue so I doubt I will be missing much.

This weekend, I hope to go location hunting with a colleague and friend. He has a wonderful eye for structure, lighting and texture and I value the opportunity to have his input. Someday he will have his own gallery shows. Amazing artist!
